Unbuilt House Exhibition
Exhibition design and curation, Oslo 2018 in collaboration with Svingen Arkitektkontor, as part of Oslo Open House 2018.
In the fall of 2018 Holt O’Brien, in partnership with Svingen Arkitektkontor, designed built and curated an exhibition titled the Unbuilt House. The exhibition was included in the Oslo Open House Program and sponsored by Aspelin Rahm and Greenhouse Oslo. It was well received both by the public and the organisers of Open House. The exhibition was a collection of models of unrealised projects by emerging architecture studios in Oslo. 16 offices were chosen from an open call. The exhibition itself was the kick off for an ongoing discussion between the participating architects about the challenges facing emerging offices in Norway today.
